About Wes Converse
Wes Converse, Lead Mechanic, brings 25 years of training and experience
servicing aircraft to Red Wing Aeroplane Co.
 Serving
United States Air Force from 1982-85, Wes worked as an aircraft mechanic for
B-52’s and KC-135’s and continued serving in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a
mechanic for C-130’s.
Since leaving the Air Force, Wes continued his aircraft mechanic education
and worked for Northwest Airlines. In addition, he flew for Comair Airlines,
Aerohead Airways, Evergreen International Airlines, YNR Aviation, and
Rochester Aviation.
 Wes holds many
pilot ratings and certificates, as well as for flight engineer, flight
instructor, and airframe and power plant mechanic.
